An upmarket Residential and Lifestyle Estate are looking to appoint a talented, outgoing Communications Manager to drive the internal communications strategy of the Estate.

This is not your run-of-the-mill Corporate Communications role - it requires you as the Communications Manager to relate to the Lifestyle the Estate has to offer.

You will be responsible for producing high quality content that engages residents and builds community spirit, a sense of belonging and enhances the brand recognition of this leading residential Estate.

In order to achieve this, it is essential that you truly empathize with your target market and their sense of values.

It is essential that you are able to buy into and, through developing effective executive communications, maintain and nurture the the favourable image the Estate has built through gathering and articulating the voice of residents.

You will be responsible for increasing awareness and developing an enviable estate image.


This will involve, but is certainly not limited to:
Developing effective communication strategies, programs and campaigns in line with the objectives as set by the HOA
Building relationships with residents to grow estate and community awareness
Developing and implementing organizational publicity strategies for the HOA
Be the face and voice of the HOA at social and sporting events held on the estate
Maintain the estate's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage around the estate
Set up a tracking and reporting system to measure all of the estates communications efforts
Develop and execute awareness campaigns, writing and commissioning editorial content, coordinating announcements and responding to enquiries generated by residents
Design and review a variety of awareness and promotional materials
Communications plans, including content calendars, target messaging, budgets, timelines etc.
Create content, edit and update ALL marketing collateral - across all platforms, including print, digital and other media channels

REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing

  • 8 years of experience in developing and implementing successful PR / Communications strategies
Strong writing skills, proficiency in the English language, and knowledge of Social Media
Inter-personal skills are vital for developing relationships with Residents - crisis management resolution experience desirable
Be a confident presenter and communicator
Event planning experience is required
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Well-developed IT skills, particularly MS Office products suite

Flexible with your time as you will be required to attend to certain matters / events outside of normal working hours, including meetings such as AGM.
