Buyer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our factory as part of the supply chain team.

Responsibilities:

Procure raw materials, equipment, consumables, packaging, and other items while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing and timely deliveries.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers through clear communication and effective collaboration.
Analyze supplier performance by reviewing feedback from departments such as Quality Control and Goods Receiving.
Execute system transactions (e.g., requisitions, purchase orders, MRP) using relevant tools.
Address internal customer needs to support departmental objectives efficiently.
Ensure timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
Monitor and ensure proper stock rotation within agreed limits.
Handle supplier complaints and conduct cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and submit monthly procurement reports.
Stay informed on market trends, pricing changes, and new technologies in raw materials.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in raw materials procurement within the manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with import/export procedures.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficient in procurement software and systems.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and quality standards is advantageous.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
