    The Howden South Africa division seeks an experienced Project Engineer to oversee service-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring they generate revenue while maintaining a safe working environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain customer relationships to secure new business opportunities.
    • Select the most effective project delivery approach based on negotiated contracts and budget guidelines, ensuring maximum revenue generation.
    • Execute projects according to agreed-upon plans, guaranteeing timely and profitable delivery.
    • Manage cash flow through accurate invoicing, debtor, and creditor control, ensuring timely cash generation.
    • Conduct cost assessments with customers to ensure mutual satisfaction with project deliverables.
    • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines, providing a safe working environment and minimizing project risks.
    • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Project Management Professional Certification.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
    • At least 3-5 years' experience within the power industry.
    • Familiarity with fan and pre-heater products.
    • Negotiation and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC.
    • Valid Code 08 driver's license.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
