***The suitable person has experience in both accounting and manufacturing. They can perform under pressure and collaborate well in groups. Deadline driven, good communicator, well organized, and able to manage people who report to them.

Requirements:

Accounting diploma or 5 years' experience working in accounting.

Above average math abilities.

Experience with ERP systems (preferably Evolution and Xperdyte).

Bilingual (Afrikaans, English)

Basic knowledge of supply-chain management and planning.

Delegation of operational tasks.

Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Review and complete works orders.

Identify cost standard issues in BOMs. Communicate adequately to cost accountant for review.

Monitor and communicate cost variances to the responsible stakeholders.

Keep a list of outstanding works orders. Update daily. Task your clerks to get feedback in.

Assist with stock transfers (ERP stock module).

Identify and correct stock processing errors (manage stock system precision)

Supply administrative assistance regarding company ERP systems to production, supply chain, and QC.

Floor to system stock spot checks.

Ad hoc duties:

Weighbridge operation (as back up)
As required by management

Monthly tasks:

Consignment packaging recons

Monthly pallet (CHEP) recons

Stock count planning & assistance

Diesel recons

Reporting relevant ratios and information to management (based on department KPI's)
