Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee our financial accounts, supervise and guide a Finance team, and drive continuous improvement in our cashbook, AR, and AP systems and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze the company's age analysis on a monthly basis.
Lead and manage the entire Finance team.
Review and finalize payment reconciliations submitted by Junior Financial Accountants.
Source suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Reconcile suppliers and process payments as needed.
Loading bank payments and verifying new recipient banking details.
Assist with BEE Certification and track expenditures.
Reconcile and verify credit card statements.
Support audit preparation.
Confirm intercompany schedules for the group.
Process journals and approve other journal entries.
Take on ad-hoc projects as needed.
Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting.
Improve and maintain all processes and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
A Post-Graduate Finance Degree.
CA(SA) preferred.

Experience/Skills:

3 Years' Financial Accounting and Management experience.
At least 2 years' experience managing or leading a team in a financial accounting environment.
Pastel Evolution experience (preferable).
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge.
Strong people management and leadership principles and practices.
Understanding of financial risk factors and principles.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
