Malander is seeking an experienced and results-driven Rental Sales Manager to oversee rental sales operations, cultivate client relationships and drive revenue growth.

As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the rental department, leading a team of rental agents, and ensuring the successful leasing of apartments across company estates.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership and Team Management:


  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of rental agents to meet leasing targets effectively;
  • Offer guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented atmosphere;
  • Conduct routine training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the rental team;
  • Assess and evaluate rental agents' performance, implementing corrective measures when necessary;
  • Ensure the maintenance of strong relationships with existing tenants to enhance satisfaction and encourage renewals and referrals;
  • Perform regular mystery shopper and anonymous caller evaluations.

Recruitment:


  • Identify staffing requirements and actively participate in recruitment activities to assemble a highperforming rental team;
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring seamless assimilation into company culture and procedures;
  • Make informed decisions regarding hiring and termination based on performance evaluations.

Strategic Planning and Execution:


  • Develop and execute effective leasing strategies to optimize occupancy rates;
  • Collaborate with other departments to align leasing efforts with overarching company goals;
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to make datadriven decisions;
  • Maintain awareness of competitive buildings, recommending necessary changes to pricing, promotions, and future development products.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:


  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the rental team;
  • Generate regular reports on leasing performance, offering actionable insights for enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in sales or promotions and management (minimum of 2 years), with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets;
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Indepth knowledge of the real estate market and leasing trends is not a must but a plus;
  • Selfmotivated, energetic, and results oriented;
  • Competent with MS Office and other sales/CRM software;
  • Previous experience in hiring and managing a sales or promotions team is preferred.
