As receptionist you will provide quality customer service aligned with the overall business strategy and fulfill administrative and assistant functions.

Intercare Tygervalley Medical and Dental Centre situated in Cape Town seeks to recruit for a Medical Receptionist.

The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by assisting the medical health professionals with administrative support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and schedule doctor's training and meetings with pharmaceutical companies.
Schedule standard and referral appointments for patients according to established procedures.
Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services and appropriate professional.
Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.
To refer all emergency cases to the nurses station without delay.
Coordinate and manage patient flow in the medical waiting area.
Manage the flow of patient files to and from professionals.
Monitor the use of supplies and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 1
Previous experience in a medical practice environment essential
Computer proficiency (MS Office)
Working knowledge of GoodX will be advantageous
