    Personal Assistant needed for gift shop

    We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant at our bustling gift shop. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, along with a passion for customer service. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the gift shop and providing exceptional support to the management team.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Customer Service:
      • Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
      • Provide information about products, promotions, and services.
      • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner.
    2. Administrative Support:
      • Assist the management team in daily administrative tasks.
      • Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
      • Maintain organized records of inventory, orders, and customer interactions.
    3. Order Processing:
      • Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
      • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely restocking of inventory.
      • Monitor inventory levels and assist in reordering merchandise as needed.
    4. Visual Merchandising:
      • Collaborate with the team to maintain an attractive and organized sales floor.
      • Assist in arranging and displaying products to maximize visual appeal.
      • Participate in periodic store layout changes and seasonal displays.
    5. Event Coordination:
      • Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events and promotions.
      • Coordinate with marketing efforts to promote special events.
      • Ensure all necessary materials and products are available for events.
    Qualifications: Grade 12
    1. Experience:
      • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
      • Familiarity with gift shop operations is a plus.
    2. Communication Skills:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to interact confidently with customers and team members.
    3. Organizational Skills:
      • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
      • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    4. Tech Savvy:
      • Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
      • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
    5. Adaptability:
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment.
      • Willingness to take on various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
