Job Title: Senior Technologist: Clinpath - Blaauwberg

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technologist to join our team at Ampath Laboratories in Blaauwberg.

Purpose of Position:

To provide technical support, perform routine and stat analyses of samples within the Clinical Pathology laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath by ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
2. Process routine bench work in the laboratory to ensure efficient processing of specimens and timely reporting of results.
3. Provide technical support within the laboratory to facilitate the smooth flow of specimens and ensure that all processes run efficiently.
4. Train laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting continuous development and education.

Requirements:

1. Certificate: Medical Technician
2. HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
3. Registered Facilitator

Required Experience:

1. Experience in pathology laboratory environment
2. Knowledge of Google and Google Mail
3. Knowledge of Instrumentation and Methodologies
4. Knowledge of Meditech system
5. Knowledge of MS Excel
6. Knowledge of MS Windows
7. Knowledge of Quality Control
8. Knowledge of relevant pathology test procedures
9. Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy
