Company sells electrical products like home appliances, air friers, kettles, cameras, speakers, radios- Wynberg Jhb_
- Presenting said samples to Retail Buyers on all major accounts Retail Accounts & Online Retailers (Massmart, Checkers, PNP, Take A Lot, ODO etc) to sell the products and concepts, procure orders and build the brand reputation and expand our distribution avenue,
THUS experience on dealing with Retail Head Office & Online Buyers is a requirement.**- Have a working knowledge of South African product requirements to import - IE. LOA / ICASA Etc.
As this directly impacts the landed cost of the items / Planning and Strategy / Lead time VS stock landed / execution of distribution.
- A decent working knowledge of importing products and the process of importing products.
- A working knowledge of marketing is required (however it is NOT the core function of the job).
- Sustain and build relationships with our retail and online partners.
- Do sales pitch to sell our products to our retail and online partners.
- Develop new business opportunities
- Create product launch plan for all new products brought to market
- Work closely with the sales team as well as Regional managers to ensure product placement, and instore merchandising.
- Grow individual categories within the market based on demand.
- Develop, recommend and execute annual sales and marketing plan.
- Implement brand marketing strategies.
- Promotion planning and tracking (sell in and sell out)
- Monitor the implementation of brand identity tools.
- Ensure correct product packaging based on CI Corporate identity
- Identify and evaluate ideas to maximise competitive advantage.
- Identify trade needs/opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions.
- Prepare Monthly \ Quarterly sales forecasts
- Determine and implement strategies to maximise sales and profits.
- Monitor competitive activity (marketing strategies, activities and pricing)
- Monthly monitoring of the entire brand and product portfolio performance vs forecast.
- Ensure product compliance with relevant regulatory associations ( ICASA \ LOA).
MUST HAVE:
Must be able to travel internationally.
Must have a Tertiary education preferably in Marketing / Business / Bachelors Degree.
Must have experience in dealing with international companies and factories in sourcing products.
Must have experience in dealing major Retail and Online Retailers.
**Must have excellent negotiation skills.
