    Business Development Manager

    Purpose of the job:

    • Responsible for New Sales and associated administrative personnel.
    • Regional management for New Sales team and associated administrative personnel.
    • Achieve new sales budgets set by EXCO.

    High-level Job Objectives:

    • Recruit, train, develop, and manage individuals within the New Sales teams.
    • Plan and coordinate functions to achieve growth budgets and general management duties.
    • Lead new sales within each region.
    • Sales and campaign planning.
    • Management reporting.
    • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market to attain company sales goals and profitability.
    • Prepare action plans for individuals and teams to find sales leads and prospects.
    • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
    • Conduct one-on-one reviews with Account Executives to build effective communications, understand training needs, and improve performance.
    • Assist Account Executives in preparing proposals and presentations.
    • Accurate and efficient management of sales statistics and reports.
    • Efficient management of workflow procedures within areas of operational responsibility.
    • Effective management of processes and procedures with a strong focus on action and change management.
    • Creative and effective planning to achieve relevant targets and objectives.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Diploma in Business Management or related field.
    • Three years of successful corporate direct sales experience.
    • Three years of junior management experience.
    • Two years of ICT industry experience.
    • Application of CRM, Voxzal, Trax, and sales processes.
    • Sound understanding of telecommunications, networking, and data.
    • Good understanding of Human Resource Management principles.
    • Understanding of financial management principles.

    Required Skills:

    • Understanding of financial management principles.
    • Good prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • CRM.
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Client liaison and customer service principles.
    • Sound business acumen.
    • Good strategic planning and execution skills.
