- Full P&L responsibility of the South African entity: Revenue, profit, and budget
- Identifying and executing strategic sales initiatives to grow revenues and increase margins of the business in the entire Sub-Saharan Africa region
- Analyzing current sales strategies and key accounts to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin expansion
- Designing and executing growth strategies, business plans, as well as implementing KPI systems in collaboration with the group management
- Managing, motivating, and coordinating a 10 FTE team consisting of sales, service, and admin staff as well as recruiting and onboarding new staff
- Ensuring worldclass customer service across all teams and functions
- Managing international suppliers as well as supply chains
Your profile:
- Proven track record in successfully growing the topline of a business, segment or country branch in an African market by improving the current sales organization and implementing initiatives for growth
- University degree with a major in a technical or business field
- Min. 5 years in managing sales teams and working in a senior management role
- Min. 5 years in a technical/industrial B2B business, ideally in an international setting
- Charismatic personality with passion for technical/industrial B2B sales and outstanding negotiation skills
- Strong analytical mindset with superior problemsolving skills, decisive and committed
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong drive for success
- Ability to thrive in highpressure situations
- Great leadership skills and an ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong knowledge in CRM systems
- Good financial literacy (P&L, Balance Sheet, Liquidity Plans)
- Ability to travel
