Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our business premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with security clusters to maintain a secure environment.
• Perform spot checks in high-risk areas of the business.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
• Maintain accurate records of operational bookings.
• Work closely with operations teams to mitigate shrinkage.
• Assign security personnel to designated posts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report incidents of theft.
• Conduct regular floor patrols to detect suspicious behavior.
• Publish weekly security reports for management review.
• Ensure that security systems are functioning optimally.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification
• PSIRA qualification with a minimum grade C or B
