Facilities Manager Role

The Facilities Manager is a crucial position responsible for overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of retail environments. Ensuring properties operate at peak efficiency, safety, and comfort for tenants and visitors is paramount.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties include:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Implementing and monitoring health & safety standards to ensure compliance and protect stakeholders.
- Managing service delivery for Hard Services, including asset management for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering equipment.
- Overseeing financial management, including budget control and administration.
- Fostering relationships with tenants and providing high-quality customer service addressing facility-related needs.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in Facilities Management, Building Management, or Operations Infrastructure Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with MDA are advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications in Retail Business Administration, Project Management, Building Science, or Mechanical Engineering are beneficial.
- A proven track record of quality assurance, project management, and coordination with sub-contractors is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a diverse team effectively are required.
