Project Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Support Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands. This is a full-time position that will involve supporting project delivery from concept through to completion.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in marine engineering, naval architecture, or mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 1-10 years of experience in project engineering. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of marine engineering principles, shipbuilding processes, and the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Assist the project team in addressing technical challenges, including engineering design reviews, analysis, and implementation of solutions.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth execution of marine and shipbuilding projects.
Resource Management: Assist in the planning and allocation of resources, ensuring that engineering, materials, and personnel are properly deployed to meet project needs.
Quality Control: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Client and Stakeholder Communication: Support communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1-10 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the marine or shipbuilding industry.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
