    DUR002070LB – Broker Claims Administrator

    Purpose of the job:
    To engage with external customer's brokers and suppliers with regards to tracking and processing of insurance claims & other related administration.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics.
    2. Minimum of 120 FAIS credits or a NQF 5 qualification in Short Term Insurance.
    3. Minimum of 5 years' short term (domestic and commercial lines) claims experience essential.
    4. RE5 advantageous.
    Technical Competencies and responsibilities
    1. Assessing short term claims received.
    2. Appointment of assessors/loss adjusters.
    3. Authorization of claims Maintaining a good working relationship with all the externals service providers.
    4. Panel beater authorizations for approved motor claims.
    5. Attending to emails, incoming calls, broker queries etc.
    6. Preparation of repudiation and/or no cover letters for sign off.
    7. Attend to the speedy claims payments & closing of claims on all the systems.
