    Role Summary
    We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Accreditation Officer to join our team at Kontak Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with higher education regulations and accreditation processes.

    Responsibilities include managing compliance and regulatory tasks, preparing and submitting reports to relevant higher education authorities, and overseeing accreditation applications and regulatory reviews. They will also conduct internal regulatory compliance assessments, coordinate site visits, and liaise with accreditation bodies.

    The ideal candidate will have a Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education Management, a minimum of 5 years in higher education accreditation and compliance, and strong verbal and written communication skills. They will also have knowledge of South African higher education regulations, project management and organizational skills, data analysis and reporting proficiency, and computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage compliance and regulatory tasks.
    • Prepare and submit reports to relevant higher education authorities.
    • Oversee accreditation applications and regulatory reviews.
    • Conduct internal regulatory compliance assessments.
    • Coordinate site visits and liaise with accreditation bodies.

    About the Job

    The Compliance and Accreditation Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that all academic programs meet the required standards and are compliant with relevant regulations. They will also be involved in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of quality assurance systems.
