KEY Responsibilities:


PR & Influencers

  • Build strong and credible relationships with Influencers and Media teams to gain support and awareness.
  • Take responsibility of the brand's Influencers Marketing Strategy, define the strategy for events and earned media opportunities, set up paid partnerships, while managing budgets and campaign reports.
  • Conceptualise, execute and manage brand events.
  • Develop a diverse digital media network to drive strategy and maximise opportunities.
  • Respond to media queries such as beauty briefs and product briefs.
  • Ensure that strategic product seedings are delivered timeously to defined influencers and media network in accordance with the marketing schedule.
  • Oversee the PR strategy per campaign and as per the marketing calendar.
  • Management of the Influencer Agency responsible for sourcing influencers.
  • Management of the Creative Agency to ensure that all content creation is aligned to the business objectives.
  • Report on success of Influencer and PR campaigns and key KPI's.
  • Ensure that local content creation strategy is advanced through Influencer content being adapted for Clarins' owned platform usage.
  • Implementation of local CSR Strategy source opportunities for exposure and ensure editorial coverage is received.

Social Media

  • Be responsible for the overall management of Clarins'

Owned Platforms:
Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.

  • Responsible for the creation of all locally relevant content and ensure consistent brand messages/positioning across all owned channels.
  • Responsible for developing the strategy for each owned channel and to ensure that this strategy meets business objectives, as well as brand positioning objectives.
  • Combine Earned, Owned and Paid Media activations to define and implement content plans fuelled with content generated by influences/content creators.
  • Management of Social Media and Creative Agencies to ensure business and creative objectives are met.
  • To create and implement social media animation plans alongside Global directives and take full responsibility for all content published on all owned social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal relations (ecommerce, digital, CRM, marketing & sales) to build the Clarins brand and develop owned media content based on the marketing calendar, digital activation overview, Ecommerce plans and trade animations.
  • Drive traffic to for Ecommerce offers

Brand Media

  • Responsible for the strategy and implementation of the paid media plan to drive the brand's positioning in the market.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of brand digital marketing campaigns across the various channels and ensure that all content meets the brand's identity standards.
  • Brainstorm new and creative brand awareness growth strategies.
  • Ensure that there is a good mix of globally developed brand content and local content in the paid media strategy.
  • Responsible for the development of all local brand media and the localisation of global content to ensure local relevancy.
  • Responsible for the management of Creative Agency for the development of all creative assets.
  • Responsible for the management of Digital Agency for the successful implementation of paid brand digital media strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of digital marketing and social media trends, with a firm understanding of user experience principles.
  • Track, measure, and report on the metrics for all brand media activities, and assess against goals

Budget

  • Responsible for the management, strategic implementation and billing processes for the Media brand budget, Domestic.
  • Responsible for the management, strategic implementation and billing processes for the PR budget.
  • Ensure that all costs to be incurred to the brand are checked and have gone through approval process.
  • Manage free goods budget and ensure products are ordered as stipulated within the P&L.

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Ensure collaboration with Move Africa for the Red Movement awareness in South Africa.
  • Develop corporate strategy alongside other internal stakeholders for the growth and multichannel approach to building the Red Movement partnership.
