Account Manager Geospatial Software

Johannesburg

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Form deep relationships with the clients assigned to you
  • Learn the underlying technology suppliers price book and its applicability to our various clients
  • Hold the debtors on your accounts accountable
  • Develop an understanding of customers business and solution requirements. Manage and upsell on customers transactional requirements.
  • Position the companys full range of products, services and support options to ensure high customer delight.
  • Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties.
  • Assist in market analysis, detect potential targets, engage and win new accounts: understand the companys strength and how it can resolve specific problems or deliver value to specific vertical industries; spot low hanging fruits and account targets; drive a value selling approach, and win large deals with new accounts.
  • Demonstrate Excellence in Execution: ensure top quality business planning, sales forecasting, reporting.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in the generation and delivery of sales proposals for the company

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a sales / account manager position is essential, within a software environment
  • Experience in B2B software sales
  • Proven experience building strong client relationships with other businesses (not individuals)
  • Exceptional communication skills
