    Description

    Leadership and Communication are essential for a Product Owner. The role requires effective communication of the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on goals.

    The Product Owner acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, leading and motivating the Scrum team to achieve product objectives. A well-defined product backlog is crucial, transparent, and understood by all team members.

    A Product Owner defines and maintains a product vision that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. They stay updated on market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies, ensuring the product complies with relevant regulations and standards.

    The Product Owner creates, prioritizes, and maintains the product backlog, aligning backlog priorities with customer expectations and organizational goals. They participate in sprint planning meetings and reviews to guide development efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Communicate the product vision and strategy clearly to stakeholders and the development team.
    • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals.
    • Lead and motivate the Scrum team to achieve product objectives.
    • Ensure the product backlog is well-defined, transparent, and understood by all team members.
    • Define and maintain a product vision that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
    • Participate in sprint planning meetings and reviews to guide development efforts.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    We seek candidates with a minimum 4 years of industry experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in Agile Methodologies such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or equivalent are highly desirable.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs, ability to align product development with business opportunities.
    • Technical Understanding: Knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodologies, familiarity with tools like Scrum for effective collaboration.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Strong ability to articulate complex ideas and mediate conflicting interests, effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
    • Leadership and Decision-Making: Ability to lead and inspire teams while maintaining accountability, competence in prioritizing tasks and making data-driven decisions.
    • Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on delivering solutions that address customer challenges, emphasis on creating a positive user experience.
    • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Skilled in analyzing data to measure product performance, ability to resolve bottlenecks and improve processes.
