THE ROLE - SALES OPS COORDINATOR:

Reporting to the head of commercial, the successful incumbent will use their great network and skills derived in the FMCG supply chain arena to always ensure that the intersection between sales, ops and finance is running like a well-oiled machine with the end goal of delivering the highest standard of product to the customer in a timely and effective manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Stock Management:


  • Maintain accurate system view of Finished goods & warehousing across our third party packers
  • Manage stock ageing to minimize expiry
  • Monitor efficiencies and potentials to improve.
  • Oversee stocks with retailers, distributors and other customers and support them in ensuring end consumers always have stock available for purchase

Invoicing:


  • Monitoring and processing all wholesale orders
  • Monitoring and processing all retailer orders

Distribution:


  • Dispatching all orders out of our 3rd party and internal warehouses.
  • Ensure end customers are being served on time, in full & according to prescribed guidelines through various 3rd part logistics partners
  • Ensure orders are packed & fulfilled within the agreed terms of our service providers
  • Manage relationships with retailers and other sales distributors regarding orders and execution thereof.
  • Resolve distribution and billing disputes and challenges.

Database management:


  • Ensure all customer data is entered and maintaining adequate records.
  • Ensure our CRM tool is up to date.
  • Manage month BI inputs and reports

Enhancements:


  • Assessing how we can enhance our service delivery.
  • Explore operational efficiencies, cost saving opportunities and new service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS, KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications and Experience required:


  • A minimum of 4 year within the operations and finance arena, specifically within FMCG
  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Exposure to ERP systems
  • Ability to manage stress
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Presentation and report writing skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
