Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification and recent certifications
Minimum 5 years experience at management level, ideally in a Production and Operational environment is essential
Knowledge of ISO Standards and a good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act will be required for this role
Must have a valid drivers license and own transport
Establishing, implementing, and ensuring compliance to the ISO standards.
Ensuring the certification on above standards of the ISO system is done yearly by external auditors and that the certification are maintained for all areas of the Company.
Improving the ISO system by assisting with regular training on the system and conducting internal audits.
Ensuring that all legal compliances are in place and renewed yearly or as indicated.
Ensuring Health & Safety Committee meetings are held regularly and documented.
Investigating any incidents and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
Maintaining a high standard of SHE compliance by doing regular inspections and making sure corrective actions are implemented.
Drafting quality assurance policies and procedures.
Interpreting and implementing quality assurance standards.
Devising sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
Planning, conducting and monitoring testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
Developing, recommending, and monitoring corrective and preventative actions.
Preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
Monitoring risk management activities.
Assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Developing all the required documentation, operational checks, and reports for the SHEQ to be compliant with OHSAS.
Investigating accidents and ensure all documentation is completed
IOD (Injury on Duty) incidents.
Liaising with HR for initiating and coordinating training plan and updating personnel training records.
