Our client, a mining service provider, is seeking a Regional Digital Business Manager who will As Regional Digital Business Manager who will maximize the company's share of spend and profitability, ensuring successful implementation and customer support across the Digital Solutions Portfolio.

The incumbent will design and lead a team of technology specialists that suits the unique needs of the customers and markets within your region.

Furthermore, the incumbent will ensure that the strategic digital priorities are aligned between the global digital and regional leadership teams and will manage to join objectives so that the Digital solutions portfolio is deployed on time, on customer needs at P&L expectations.


Responsibilities:


In partnership with regional sales Teams to create an agile digital solutions strategy which meets the evolving needs of the business, customers and capitalizes on opportunities for needed transformation.

Digital Solutions business performance P&L ownership and business reporting in its respective region.
Territory management strategy and target development for all business units within the region, and regional business development planning.
Revenue and profitability targets and performance management plans for CC sales-responsible team members.

OR/OI, ADJ, CGP, ME, MC, CGP & OPR, and other standard business health metrics for their region (by CC, by major portfolio).

Business/market intelligence (market share, competitive comparison, pricing intelligence, offering development) - supported by input from CC sales teams.
Pricing and discounting approvals within defined parameters.
Licensing and subscription models for different product and service offerings.
Owner of Division budget in the region - reporting, analyzing financial data, manage the budget, optimize expenses, headcount.
Think consolidated for "digital area" and ensure we recover the costs for the "automation area" i.e. run the Division as both a profit (digital) and cost center (automation projects).

Lead the Digital product pricing model and strategy with focus on expected value added to customer and additional Revenue and profit stream to the company.

Active participation in development and negotiation of tenders.
Map the needs of and establish training plans for key digital sales team members.
Contribute to the development of value selling and digital sales training material.
Driving price quality, input to market area price developments, managing incentivizing vs price realization.
Partnering with Division Commercial team to manage commercial and business risk on entry to new deals, contracts, POs, etc.

High focus on SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) in all we do and reaching 25% in gender diversity by end of 2023.


Requirements:
Qualification and Skill

Minimum of 5 years' experience in mining related industries, with knowledge of software-related business models for mining industry segments.
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or similar an advantage.

Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation).

Experience in production and mining industries / environments is an asset.
