About the Position:
***This is position a sales executive position requiring goods sales and business development skills. The incumbent will need to create sales and relationships predominantly in the retail franchisee and independent retail, outlet markets.


Key responsibilities:
***- Identify and call on key markets and customers

  • Identifies correct product offering and formulates proposals large capital outlays for clients
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Dealing with owners, buyers, engineers, store managers and regional managers of major retail chains
  • Deals with requests for quotations and information requirements
  • Ensures after sales service levels are well maintained
  • Identifying short
- and long-term growth opportunities

  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
  • Achieving sales budget requirements

Skills and Competencies required:

  • Persistent and skilled at selling and negotiating
  • Peoples person/sales orientation
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Able to sell and close the deal regarding capital goods
  • Business development/setup experience
  • Experience in working across functions to improve customer service
  • Able to manage time and projects effectively
  • Ability to think through and solve problems methodically
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism

Qualifications and Experience required:
***- A university/college degree/diploma from an accredited institution preferred but not mandatory

  • Minimum 3 years of strategic sales experience in capital goods space in in a businessto business sales environment would be preferable
  • Previous project or account management
  • Experience in the retail environment would be an advantage
  • PC proficiency
  • This position requires travel within the Gauteng region
  • Own vehicle essential
  • Drivers license essential
