Senior Project Manager - Woodmead, South Africa - AECI
Description
Ensure proper use of project management methodology, standards, tools, processes and procedures- Implementation of the project plan and manages the execution of projects/work streams according to plan
- Directs, facilitates and ensures work stream teams create and execute work stream plans that enable delivery of the project
- Manages conflicts and dependencies between work streams and wider initiatives as required
- Reviews the progress of the project and effectively manages the change of requirements, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and priorities
- Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures.
- Analyse risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action
- Assist with effective resource management so that the project is resourced with the required expertise
- Provide the Programme Lead with a consolidate view of the project status and milestones across all work streams
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 710 years + of professional project management experience
- Experience in SAP ERP (ECC, S/4 HANA) and in shared service centers implementations
- Industry certifications advantageous (PMI / Prince2 / PMBOK / Business Analysis
- Demonstrated experience in business change management
