    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Daily Operations: Coordinate and manage daily operations across multiple 5-star properties, ensuring consistency and excellence in service delivery.
    • Collaborate with Property Managers: Work closely with property managers to ensure all departments meet operational standards, including field guiding, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
    • Support Field Guides: Provide support and mentorship to field guides, ensuring top-quality guest experiences and compliance with safety protocols.
    • Monitor Performance: Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
    • Conduct Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and 5-star standards.
    • Staff Training and Development: Oversee staff training and development, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
    • Liaise with Suppliers: Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
    • Guest Feedback and Support: Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests across properties.
    • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure financial efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Qualification: A relevant qualification in hospitality management, wildlife conservation, or a related field.
    • Field Guiding Experience: Proven experience in field guiding, with a minimum of FGASA Level 1 certification (higher levels preferred).
    • Operational Coordination Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of operational coordination or management experience within luxury or 5-star establishments.
    • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and properties effectively.
    • Communication and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Residency Requirement: Must reside near Ballito or be willing to relocate to the area.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
