    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop electronic system specifications and designs based on customer requirements and design standards.
    • Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure that electronic systems are feasible and integrated into construction projects and meet all client requirements.
    • Working knowledge of computeraided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and refine electronic system designs.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and costbenefit analyses to determine the viability of new designs and electronic system techniques.
    • Develop and maintain contract and project documentation, including design reports and drawings and specifications.
    • Ensure that electronic systems meet statutory and regulatory requirements and adhere to safety, reliability and sustainability standards.
    • Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary project team to ensure that electronic systems are installed, tested, and commissioned on time and within budget.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and making recommendations to senior project management team members.
    • Conduct regular project team meetings and providing guidance and support to multidisciplinary project team members.
    • Ensure that all project stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and any project planning and milestone changes.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • BSc/BEng Degree or BTech (Electronics). Must provide Certificate with transcript
    • Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer. Must provide Certificate with registration number.
    • Strong technical background in electronics engineering.
    • Five (5) of the ten (10) years post professional registration (Pr Eng) should be in planning and implementing electronics systems in production environments experience.
    • Knowledge of construction processes and standards, as well as experience with project management.

    Core Competencies/Requirements

    • Have a strong technical background in Electronics engineering, as well as excellent design and problemsolving skills.
    • Have a good working knowledge of construction implementation processes and standards as well as project management principles.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
    • Proficiency in industryspecific software or tools including CAD, BIM software or other engineering tools.
    • Must have MS Office experience.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must be able to guide and lead supporting staff.
