JOB PURPOSE:

Maintain Claim Statistics & Reporting, provide general support in CCD transport sector.


QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • Matric Certificate
  • Business/ Financial Administration Certificate (NQF level 5 or above)
  • Min 23 years' experience in a similar role (Logistical industry exposure advantageous)
  • Excellent numeracy skills, and have dealt with large volume of data
  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to prioritize and have organizational skills
  • Good communication skill and is a team player


  • PC literacy

  • Google Sheet/Excel intermediate/advanced level, MS office

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Claim Administration (Store Claims & Incidents)_
  • Update claims statistics for all clients and CCD
  • Compile monthly client claims reports
  • Incident: Track/Recover/Report claim from Transport Service Providers
  • Provide cashflow projection on request
  • Attend claims meetings and take minutes when/as required
  • Information maintenance_
  • Maintain Claim statistical data input for client reporting
  • Update and communicate rates for all transport service providers and relevant regions
  • Update transport contracts and rate structure, follow up on outstanding legally required documentation

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION/REQUIREMENTS:


  • Maintain portfolio related record and keep up to date, retrieve info as/when required
  • Maintain transport contract and keep related document record up to date
  • Willing to show initiative and approach tasks with a "handson" attitude
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to function within various different teams and environments, but also work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
