Qualifications
- Completed Matric
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain (Advantage)
Experience
2-3 Years of experience in:
- SAP Experience (Essential)
- 23 Year transactional buyer experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing Environment Min 3 years
- Procurement Leadership Skills to manage team/people
- Procurement Planning, Scheduling & Crises Management (required)
- Procurement Supply Contracts
- Procurement Tenders/RFx's /RFI)/Forecasting (required)

- Benchmark and Improvement ability to benchmark, conduct performance measurement and tracking analysis, and develop continuous improvement plans
- Negotiation ability to achieve mutually satisfying agreements in negotiations with others by listening to adversaries' objectives, effectively communicating own objectives, and seeking common ground and collaborative solutions
- Supplier Implementation and Management ability to implement a newly negotiated agreement and transition to the new supplier relationship. This includes establishing the implementation team, verifying supplier's capabilities, and establishing the supplier management program
- Sourcing Strategy ability to develop a sourcing strategy by conducting "Five Forces" analysis, positioning the sourcing group, determining approaches for the sourcing group, and defining implementation tactic
- Continuous Improvement lead and promote departmentally. Develop and maintain suitable business and operational and product knowledge and expertise /Effectively conduct team meetings
- Legal & Supplier Compliance on contracts awarded Preparation of supply agreements, SLA's. monitoring performance
