    Key Responsibilities:

    Implement and maintain ordering, planting, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and turf grasses on properties. Grow potted plants and maintain a nursery for different properties. Identify and manage indigenous plant species to promote biodiversity and ecosystem balance. Establish general gardens and grounds requirements with owners. Liaise with owners/managers to understand project scope in accordance with project requirements and deliver excellence in execution. Take ownership of projects. Develop a strong track record of project delivery. Possess thorough knowledge of horticulture, plant propagation, and culturation. Demonstrate considerable knowledge of nursery management principles. Manage and supervise gardens and grounds teams. Apply elementary principles of landscaping.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • Proficient English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
    • Computer literacy at level 2, with experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Qualification in Horticulture
    • Accredited landscape architectural professional certification
    • Previous experience working in medium to large gardens (2-3 years)
    • Strong Landscape Architecture and project management skills
    • Knowledge of design trends, techniques, materials, and best practices
