    Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

    In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic input during the development of the quality assurance department's objectives and ensuring alignment with business goals. You will also validate and test the accuracy and completeness of the underwriting process by reviewing applications and insurance quotations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Alignment:
      • Provide input during the development of the quality assurance department's objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
      • Assist in the development of the annual plan and key performance indicators.
      • Identify business risks related to your work.
      • Develop annual project plans and tasks/areas allocated to you.
      • Manage and ensure regular and monthly reports of projects under your responsibility.
    • Technical Quality Assurance Reviews and Projects:
      • Validate, test the accuracy and completeness of the underwriting process by reviewing applications and insurance quotations.
      • Recalculate premiums for accuracy.
      • Review covers for insurability and compliance with Sasria underwriting regulations.
      • Review final policy schedules and coupons for accuracy and completeness.
    • Policy and Coupon Administration Process:
      • Check if Sasria coupons and policies are issued correctly and completed in full.
      • Ensure Sasria coupons and policies are issued in time.
      • Prevent backdating of Sasria coupons without prior authorization from Sasria.
      • Ensure refunds and cancellations processes are adequate and effective.
    • Compliance with Relevant Laws and Regulations:
      • Test and correct disclosure of sections covered by the Sasria policy.
      • Correct cost of cover disclosures.
      • Inclusion of correct and complete disclosure information.
    • Operational Administration of QA Projects (Sasria Agent Companies):
      • Coordinate fieldwork logistics and confirm traveling arrangements.
      • Execute quality assurance monitoring or consultative projects.
      • Communicate project results and outcomes.
      • Set up follow-up project schedules, execute retesting, resolve process gaps/risks, and report outcomes.
    • Customer Relations Internal Departments or Ad-hoc QA Projects:
      • Determine deliverables for projects.
      • Scope and obtain approval for projects.
      • Develop project plans with clear objectives, approach, scope, resources, and timelines.
      • Communicate project results.
    • People Management:
      • Manage team performance of junior QA staff members or interns and report to the quality assurance manager.
      • Maintain a positive working environment contributing to improved staff morale and increased productivity.
      • Perform informal reviews, coaching, mentoring, and counseling as required.
    • Ad-hoc Duties:
      • Perform any reasonable task as required by the line manager.
