Our Customer Experience Department is in search of a culture fit Junior SFMC Solutions Architect to join their CRM team to provide technical support to the CRM & Digital Marketing teams on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- building, testing & deploying integrated communication strategies across multiple channels to meet key business KPIs that drive ROI.


The role will require the incumbent to work effectively across multiple teams, including some external partners, to proactively leverage technology capabilities to effectively support the overarching CRM strategy and initiatives.

Key Duties

  • Test journeys and content before execution.
  • Endtoend management of personalized multichannel campaigns from build phase to testing phase to execution.
  • Technical support to work on Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support our marketing team and to collaborate with external Salesforce partner.
  • Maintain updates to complex journeys handed over by Salesforce partner.
  • Documentation: compile and maintain documentation of journeys and processes
  • Troubleshoot issues with daily automations, data complexities, including those identified during campaign build & test phases.
  • Daytoday monitoring of automated campaigns.
  • To support teams with maintenance of dynamic & personalized content using (AMPScript & HTML/CSS may be required)
  • Inhouse support to work closely with external Salesforce partner.

Requirements:

Knowledge & Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in building complex and automated journeys on Salesforce Marketing Cloud with proven experience building omnichannel campaigns on Salesforce Journey Builder and Salesforce Content Builder
  • 2+ years' experience in a Marketing environment or in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge and experience with using SQL.
  • Technical skills in HTML and AMPScript will be advantageous.
  • 2+ years of segmentation experience, specifically in a retail environment
  • Matric and Relevant tertiary qualification in and or skills training
  • Good understanding of customer data, customer journey building, campaign measurement and overall campaign performance insights & analytics
  • A good understanding of basic CRM lifecycle management principles
  • Experience in performance tracking across channels to measure the full effectiveness of omnichannel campaigns will be beneficial.
  • Previous retail, loyalty, and rewards experience in a similar role beneficial Experience with Multichannel Marketing Deployment Platforms advantageous specifically the concepts of journeys and complex workflows.
