Senior Java Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in creating and maintaining cutting-edge Java web applications and services. As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and application developers to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java web applications using Java web frameworks such as EJB and JSF.
• Work on continuous integration/delivery pipelines in Amazon Web Services.
• Ensure data security standards are met by implementing approved data encryption techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives and implement them in applications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java Core, Java EE (JEE), Java Persistence API (JPA), and Java Persistence Query Language (JPQL).
• Experience in Java Server Faces (JSF) / Prime Faces.
• 3-5 years of experience in PostgreSql SQL and plpgsql.
• Understanding of development processes in Cloud / Amazon Web Services.
• Java RESTful Web Services expertise.
• WCAG compatibility knowledge and application.

Nice to Have Experience:

• Maven.
• Github and Agile Development.
• JUnit, Arquillian or similar testing framework.
• JIRA.
• Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD).
• Database schema design.
• Java automated testing with Selenium.
• Application load testing with Apache JMeter or similar.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year.
