My client, a leading Insurance company, is seeking a skilled Lead Specialist in Asset Liability Management (ALM) to join their team.


Job & Company Description:


As a senior member of their ALM team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of exposures within their ALM function and providing specialist advice and support in your area of expertise.

In this role, you'll play a key role in the quantification of market risk, asset and liability mismatches, and embedding the usage of the specialised insurance operations (SIO) capability across the business.

Your insights will help drive business action and contribute to strategic objectives.

To excel in this role, you'll need to have experience in balance sheet/ALM management, people management, team strategy, and Prophet usage.


Education:


  • BSc Actuarial Degree
  • Honours Degree will be advantageous
  • Newly qualified Actuary

Job Experience & Skills Required:


  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Financial Services
  • Management experience
  • Balance sheet / ALM management experience is crucial
  • Prophet experience
  • Efficient stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must be able to perform all actuarial tasks as efficiently and accurately as expected by management
