    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve the organization's objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Tactical Planning: Develop tactical and operational plans to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Business Development Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with existing and new customers to enhance customer experience, increase customer retention, grow revenue, and improve overall efficiency.
    • Revenue Generation: Unlock and generate new revenue for the organization to ensure agreed sales and profit targets are met.
    • Collaboration: Liaise and collaborate with various business units and teams.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: At least 7 years of proven experience in business development within the mining industry, preferably in African countries.
    • Sales and Project Management: Previous experience in sales and project management will be preferred.
    • Formal Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is preferred, but a relevant Business qualification will be considered.
    • Language: Fluency in English is required.
    • Travel: Must be willing to travel regularly to developing African countries.

    Working Conditions:

    • Clear Criminal Record: Able to pass medicals, induction, and training certifications as and when required.

    Salary: Negotiable, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
