Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a

Supply Chain Optimisation Manager for a well-known Liquor Distribution company based in Johannesburg (Sandton).


Responsibilities:


  • Design and execute a customer focused supply chain strategy
  • Optimizing logistics costs
  • Leading exercises to identify key areas of opportunity
  • Improve engagement with key stakeholders and establish communication channels between the cross functional teams
  • Leading initiatives to improve transparency of the supply chain
  • Manage projects and ensure timelines and target dates are met. This requires effectively managing communication between multiple crossfunctions
  • Monitor Industry standards, trend or practices to identify improvements in Supply Chain
  • Provide supply chain project progress reports to relevant parties
  • Communication to relevant parties regarding queries

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Honours Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics or Industrial Engineering
  • 10 years Supply Chain Management in the fields of inventory and supplier management, forecast planning, supply chain planning.
  • Financial Management (Beneficiary)
  • Warehouse, transport and inventory systems
  • Excel skills at advanced proficiency
  • MS Business Central, MS Power BI, Microsoft Visio, Auto CAD (Beneficial)
