    Description

    The primary function of this role is to provide administrative and analytical support to the Technical Specialist: Planning Strategist in delivering comprehensive financial planning services. This includes estate, risk, business, investment, and retirement planning.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Assisting in the creation and management of new and existing client relationships by providing data analysis and insights.
    2. Collecting and organizing client information from various sources to prepare detailed financial plans.
    3. Capturing client data on Avalon to generate financial planning reports.
    4. Providing accurate financial analyses and solutions aligned with clients' goals and needs.
    5. Contributing to the development of planning recommendations in conjunction with specialists or wealth managers.
    6. Identifying areas for planning, including scenario planning, to develop suitable strategies for clients.
    7. Recognizing opportunities for potential new business through clients' planning needs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning advantageous
    • RE5 and RE1 qualifications required

    Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
    • Prior experience in financial planning preferred
    • Excellent communication and regulatory knowledge
    • Familiarity with PPS products
    • Understanding of practice management principles
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team
