Kerston Foods, a well-established Food Services company, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to fill a contract position on maternity cover.

This role will be responsible for providing HR support, services, and related duties from late January 2024 to late July 2024.

Key Performance Areas

Recruitment: Job specifications, recruitment sources, screening processes, and final decision support.
Induction and Onboarding: Processes of induction and onboarding, and subsequent probation management support.
Employment Administration: Monthly payroll preparation, system compliance, and employment administrative duties.
Staff Relations: Coherent system of managing relationships, formal growth & development processes, statutory compliance, and support services.
Policies and Procedures: Maintenance of HR policies and procedures, central shared files, and format compliance.
Performance Management: Development and refinement of performance management practices and outcomes.
HR Analysis: Informing HR decision-making through meaningful agreed information, analyses, evaluations, and reports.
Administration: Meeting coordination, team guidance, project management, and related support services.
Development Support: Facilitating development needs analysis and subsequent development support.
Annual HR Plans: Plans based on HR analysis and key agreed development areas.

Requirements

A 3-year formal Human Resources or related qualification.
Advanced Computer Literacy with emphasis on MS Office and particularly Excel skills.
Thorough knowledge of the BCEA.
Working knowledge of labour legislation.
Minimum 5 years' work experience in Human Resources, including 2 years in an established HR function.
