    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching marketing materials, in-store signage, and digital content that showcases our brand effectively.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Designing and executing creative visual elements, including digital and print ads, social media graphics, emailers, banners, and ad-hoc promotional materials based on internal briefs.
    • Conceptualizing and designing seasonal catalogues to highlight products in the best possible light.
    • Laying out print and digital catalogues to ensure they are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
    • Providing support to the marketing team during photoshoots and events as needed.
    • Creating engaging social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Developing basic animations using GIFs and video creation/editing skills.
    • Designing packaging, labels, and other creative elements as required.
    • Coming up with fresh ideas for online/digital material and print to be shot in-house.
    • Executing against project briefs and ensuring all work aligns with our brand positioning and guidelines.
    • Conducting weekly competitive retail research to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Image retouching to ensure high-quality visuals.
    • Assisting with in-house printing of store marketing materials.

    Desired Experience and Qualifications

    • A relevant tertiary qualification/degree in Graphic Design, with 1-2 years of work experience in a corporate or agency environment.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro is advantageous.
    • Mastery of Microsoft Office and its applications.
    • An understanding of digital and print principles, including repro and layout.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and the creation of collateral for these channels.
    • Staying up-to-date with key digital and industry-related trends.
    • The ability to adhere to deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
    • Graphic design skills for both print and web environments.
    • Photographic skills are advantageous, as well as knowledge of photography and videography.
    • Copywriting skills are also advantageous.
    • Tech-savviness, leveraging new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem-solving, and support business growth.
