Job Description:


  • As the Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of the smooth flow of material from Suppliers, internal or external suppliers including Inter-Production Unit transfers into the Distribution Centre/ Main Stores.
  • Supply and service coordination and standard management
  • Ensure the operational department provides good customer service
  • Support customers for special orders
  • Management of Team Relations
  • Ensure that employees have clear work expectations and plans
  • Communicate effective with Management
  • Identify potential conflict situation and minimize the implications
  • Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Employee Relations
  • Legal compliance and management
  • Ensure that require job instructions area available to employees
  • Implement and maintain applicable Safety, Regulations, The Act, Codes of Practice and standards
  • Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports for area
  • Ensure that accurate labour records including overtime worked are maintained
  • Support the overall operational management of the Production
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations

This role is in the Supply Chain department at a Band C4 level reporting to the Site Supply Chain Officer.

  • Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 1
  • Relevant Materials Management / Logistics / Supply Chain qualification at degree or national diploma level

  • Valid driver's license

Experience:


  • Proven track record in SAP Material Management (SAP MM)
  • At least 5 years' experience at supervisory level with a supply/logistics management environment
  • Logistics Knowledge
  • Basic business and commercial knowledge
  • Time management skills
  • Communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic negotiation skills
  • Must be prepared to work & travel to multiple stores.
  • Good command of the English language
  • Must be prepared to work & travel to multiple stores within Mokopane.
