    Sales Manager Job Description

    At our company, we are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Gauteng region.

    We are looking for an experienced professional who can drive sales growth, manage a team of sales staff, and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales volume, revenue, and margin targets as per the set objectives.

    The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
    • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Maintain and grow customer base in the region
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Ensure effective implementation of sales management, administrative, and financial control procedures and policies

    Requirements:

    • Matric certificate
    • Tertiary sales/commercial qualification
    • Industry experience is advantageous

    Essential Skills:

    • Proven track record in external and internal sales
    • Strong people management and leadership skills
    • Administrative experience, including financial controls
    • Computer literacy

    Estimated Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum depending on experience.
