About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Code 14 truck driver to join our team at SFG Engineering Services. This is a critical position that requires a professional and skilled individual to operate a heavy-duty truck with a trailer, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Code 14 truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Loading and unloading cargo at designated delivery points, ensuring secure and proper handling of goods.
• Developing and implementing effective route plans to minimize delays and ensure timely deliveries.
• Conducting regular vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintaining accurate records, including delivery receipts, logbooks, and other required documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport regulations, including load limits and working hours.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding delivery updates and potential issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A valid Code 14 driver's license.
• A Public Driver's Permit (PDP).
• A minimum of 10 years' experience driving large trucks, with at least 5 years' experience in abnormal or super link operations.
• A good driving record with minimal traffic violations.
• Ability to handle physical demands of job, including loading, unloading, and prolonged driving periods.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, including vehicle maintenance checks.
• Adherence to company policies, including Zero Tolerance and Workplace Harassment.
