Job Title:
Water Treatment Specialist - Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment

Key Responsibilities:

System Analysis and Design: Evaluate existing water treatment systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Design and implement new systems or modifications to existing ones to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Water Quality Management: Monitor water quality parameters and develop strategies to maintain or improve water quality standards. Conduct regular testing and analysis to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay uptodate with relevant regulations and standards governing water treatment processes. Ensure that all water treatment systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and environmental guidelines.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide technical support for troubleshooting operational issues related to water treatment systems. Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for operational staff on proper operation and maintenance of water treatment systems. Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, operating procedures, and maintenance records.
Research and Development: Stay abreast of advancements in water treatment technologies and methodologies. Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential implementation of new technologies or process improvements.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure alignment of water treatment objectives with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in water treatment systems design, operation, and optimization.
Strong knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes, and equipment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to water treatment.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience with project management and implementation of process improvement initiatives is preferred.
Professional certifications or licenses related to water treatment would be advantageous.
