One of our entities in Moorreesburg is looking to employ an experienced and capable Feed Mill Maintenance Technician.Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices
- Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
- Be familiar with all onsite equipment.
- Make needed repairs/adjustments to correct machine issues.
- Test and observe equipment after making repairs to verify the issue is completely corrected.
- Maintain clean work environment after completing a task.
- Examine machines and parts in service for damage and defects.
- Time keeping on repairs.
- Perform basic 3 phase and single phase industrial electrical repairs.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the OPS manager.
- Update admin work daily.
- Monthly maintenance reports to be completed.
- Vehicle inspections to be done weekly.
- H&S reports to be done.
Skill required
- Experience of pellet mills/hammermills
- Experience on conveyor/bucket elevators and drag chains.
- Experience on truck maintenance.
- Experience on Pneumatic
- Experience on VSD's ,240V,480V.
- Experience on welding/torch cutting.
