IT Infrastructure Architect - 4 Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our team on a 4-month contract basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT-related fields such as computer science, information technology, or related field.

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a corporate IT environment, with senior leadership roles and expertise in IT technology architecture.
• Proven experience in a related technical field, including application development, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure management.

Tools and Certifications:

• Familiarity with TOGAF or equivalent Architecture qualification (preferred but not required).
• MDP / MBA or equivalent management qualification (preferred but not required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the global process to manage new technology ideas and demands, providing research, analysis, design review, and recommendations to leadership.
• Provide design support to projects and business groups to ensure efficient and safe technology architectures are delivered.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a trusted advisor and teaming approach.
• Identify, select, and implement appropriate solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Monitor and research emerging innovations to determine functionality that may provide business value.

Architecture Governance:

• Define and maintain the architecture repository.
• Select reference viewpoints and modeling approaches.
• Approve baseline architectural domain descriptions and EA building blocks.
• Approve baseline and target architectures.
• Define baseline and target domain architectures.

Solution Selection and Implementation:

• Confirm key enterprise change attributes and identify possible enterprise drivers.
• Consider EA maturity, review gap analysis, and evaluate potential solutions.
• Assess Enterprise dependencies, assess Request for EA Work, and identify potential solutions.
• Confirm enterprise architecture readiness and formulate high-level implementation and migration strategy.
• Develop transition architecture and confirm domain architecture readiness.

Implementation Roadmap:

• Validate and prioritize the enterprise architecture implementation and migration plan.
• Confirm transition enterprise architecture increments and phases.
• Define enterprise architecture implementation governance.
• Update architecture repository and compile enterprise architecture implementation roadmap.
• Obtain approval of architecture roadmap and define domain architecture implementation governance.
• Compile domain architecture implementation roadmap and validate and prioritize the domain architecture implementation and migration plan.
• Confirm transition domain architecture increments and phases.
