    PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

    AVI LIMITED is a leading FMCG company with over 50 brands across various categories. Our Shared Services structure spans International, IT, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Procurement and Field Marketing.

    We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Financial Shared Services Division in Bryanston, Johannesburg. As the newest member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Capture accurate information onto the SAP system in a timely manner.
    • Process payroll at best practice performance levels.
    • Respond to internal and external customer queries promptly and accurately.
    • Perform reconciliations and audits.
    • Process employee payments accurately and on time.
    • Accurately process employee entitlements and statutory deductions.
    • Assist with customer relations and management.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years' full cycle payroll experience.
    • 5 years weekly wages experience.
    • Experience working in a large complex payroll department.
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Completed Matric/Grade 12.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification ideal.
    • Thorough knowledge of SAP Payroll System.
    • Exposure to an HR Administration system.
    • In-depth knowledge of all payroll related taxes and legislation.
    • Business acumen.
    • Analytical thinking.
    • Data interpretation.
    • Relationship building.
    • Time management.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Planning and organisation.
