    IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist

    Description:

    We are seeking a skilled IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in ensuring the effective management of IT risks and compliance within an organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement IT governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Analyze and assess IT risks, identifying areas of improvement and implementing mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across all IT systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices in IT operations.
    • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for IT security, risk management, and compliance.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and recommend new technologies and processes to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
    • Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, providing insights for business decisions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
    • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, or CRISC highly desired.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, POPIA, and GDPR.
