Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who can lead the successful delivery of software
scope, project team, resources, and the success or failure of the project. It will be beneficial if the
enables smart, self-driven people to do their best. A comprehensive understanding of the financial
industry will be an advantage.


Preferred Requirements:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification B.Com Informatics/ BSc Computer Science / N.Dip Informatics
  • PMBok/Prince2 certification
  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Project Risk identification, mitigation, and management
  • Experience in IT solution project implementation with Agile project principles
  • Experience in the financial sector, preferable insurance will be an advantage
  • Experience in Lean Sigma will be an advantage
  • Training/Experience in using Agile will be an added advantage

Role Responsibilities:


  • Ensure timely delivery of projects, within scope and budget
  • Establish a clear understanding of the project goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Effectively negotiate and define the scope of work with all stakeholders thereby ensuring effective delivery
  • Ensure projects are realistically planned, organised, and resourced, to deliver against requirement/project plan
  • Effectively manage resources, skills requirements, and workload distribution in accordance with business priorities
  • Ensure the effective facilitation of all stakeholders' input
  • Effective and efficient project administration including project documentation, schedule planning, and maintenance
  • This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and ontime project delivery
  • Efficient and effective use of formal and informal communication lines thereby ensuring participative project delivery culture
  • To ensure effective communication to business owners, internal customers, and other relevant stakeholders, to keep them informed, facilitate decision making, take corrective action and set direction
  • Build sound working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, delivery partners, and third parties(where applicable)
  • Establish and maintain the overall project budget
  • Effectively implement change management practices, processes and procedures and ensure optimal understanding and acceptance thereof
**Remote working: 2-3 Days a week remote work
