Our Client in Durbanville is looking for Business Development Representative.

Who will work predominantly in a client facing role, focusing on top-of-funnel activity and taking full accountability for seeking out and acquiring new business.

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and generating new business through outbound channels and building relationships with potential clients.


Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities
  • Generate and present satisfactory demos to potential clients
  • Ensure business proposals are set up correctly and sent out
  • Hand over the full portfolio to the Key Account Manager
Product/industry knowledge and networking

  • Understand buyer personas and needs
  • Research various prospecting methods and outreach sequences
  • Build relationships
  • Remain up to date with the various competitors in the market
  • Attend and/or participate in relevant conferences, workshops or roadshows as identified and when required to build clientele and network at such events
  • Attend relevant training identified as and when required
Ad hoc administrative duties

  • Research viable industries, leads and companies
  • Ensure administration around demos is completed
  • Load all leads and prospective clients on the system
  • Update the systems daily with all client correspondence

Requirements:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential
  • Sales/account management experience essential
  • Cold calling experience essential
  • Experience working in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
  • Own reliable transport and willing to travel for business purposes

Salary:
From R1.00 per month
