    Description
    Placement Point (Pty) Ltd is on the lookout for a Regional Sales Executive to join a reputable organization in Mpumalanga.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement the annual sales strategy for the designated area.
    • Create tactical and operational plans to achieve strategic goals.
    • Provide regular updates on departmental objectives and timelines.

    2. New Business Development
    • Discover and engage new independent and franchise hardware merchants.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new merchants.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper setup and training for merchants.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with hardware merchants and industry stakeholders.
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the industry and how credit solutions can enhance merchant operations.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the company’s values.

    3. Account Management
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing hardware merchants.
    • Conduct regular meetings to discuss sales performance and operational challenges.
    • Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.

    4. Marketing Initiatives
    • Execute marketing strategies within merchant sales channels to meet sales objectives.
    • Implement promotional campaigns as outlined in the annual sales plan.

    5. Team Leadership
    • Lead the external sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and customer focus.
    • Set clear targets for team members and monitor their progress.
    • Identify training needs and ensure team members receive appropriate coaching.

    6. Stakeholder Engagement
    • Share performance reports with stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates to management on project progress and targets.
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members and internal stakeholders.

    Qualifications:
    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role.
    • Experience in the hardware sector or financial services is advantageous.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales or experience in relationship management.

    Computer Skills:
    Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
